Been running 7 since beta was released, ordered 2 copies @ amazon during the $50 pre-sale, and love it!

Vista was ok, but 7 is much, much better

Much better, but has bug problems with virtual memory, I am running 4gb ram, and have changed the virtual memory and it constantly says, cannot run program because of low Virtual memory.

That is the program's problem, not Windows' problem. There is a huge difference between the two.

for gaming peoples like me will noty love it..
as it requires min 1 gb ram... so tat doubles the requiremnt wat was in vista...
so u need now min of 4gb ram to play quality games in it.. which is not a cheap deal...

I've read some good reviews about Windows 7. I actually have Vista but I'm definitely going to change to 7.

I would prefer to use Vista over Windows 7. Vista takes less memory and easy to use.

It is worth if you buy it. It is not worth if you buy pirated one.

the whole system core was re-writen so its very different from XP and Vista together. vista has been terrible in more than 10 laptops and pcs that i have used.like i read in a review somewhere vista was like pouring glue in your laptop and hoping for it to work just fine

I see no reason to downgrade to bloatware. No operating system should use 1 gig of memory, bah. If windows 95 used 16 megs of memory, windows 7 should use 4 megs.

I am staying with XP until I can no longer find drivers or support - and that is going to be a long, long time.

I think where Microsoft got it wrong was, XP was (and still is) pretty good. But, they need to keep selling OS'es in order to stay in business so now they try to sell u old wine in a new (fancy) bottle. For me, XP is good for another couple of years atleast.

It's great, without a doubt worth it. I have the ultimate edition and it is easily the best windows yet.

I've been using it since the beta, got the full version now. Running the 64bit, everything works great.
