is microsoft 7 really worth it??

what are people thinking about microsoft 7? decent or just another gimmik?

 

I dont have it as yet as i usually wait many months till all the initial bugs are sorted but the initial feedback from across the internet it looks stable and much better than vista.

According to reviews its a very good windows release and much better than vista . But its expensive price wise

 

Its going nicely since its release !
And the ones who are using it are quite happy.
So, you can say that its better than others and thats why a little bit costlier too.

Its been 15~17 days now since i have been using it. No problems till now for me. The one thing that i think is a bug or i dont know is when the computer shuts down in properly, there is no scan disk so i have to do it manually each time

 

I upgraded a week ago and I must say I love it. It's like XP in terms of speed (loads & works just as fast, even faster in some apps), and looks very nice with the Aero theme.
My laptop had Vista installed and it was so slow I had to install my old XP and use it until now...

 

some said that windows 7 is better than windows vista. maybe we should try that to see is to believe.

I have a Windows 7 and I must say its great when compared to Vista.

Opening folders and running programs is MUCH faster and I am very pleased I upgraded. Obviously if you are running XP the difference won't be as noticeable.

im using win7 ultimate version.. so far , so good...

 

i ll say windows 7 iss the killer of all old OSs from XP.... well i am using windows 7 64 bit version.... feel like a breeze to me... i am quite happy using it....

 

Its really a great Hit than any other OS as far as i know!!

Windows 7 is great. Really stable too. Besides some crashes due to certain programs, it has never bsoded or crashed on me.

 

Very good, would definitely use it over XP or Vista on any new computer I buy.

 

I am still an XP fan.

What is minimum spec to run 7?

 

I never upgrade for a least 6mo they can clean up all the bugs before I want it. lol

 

I have a masters copy of windows 7 and I really like it. Its a lot better then vista of course and its really rich with media friendly stuff. It makes multi tasking a little easier and its not so bland.
