Is Matt Cutts a part of the DP Coop?

I agree on that, but as per coop terms, is it ok to add sites that are not owned by you?
for example if you do it for a girlfriend or just trying to googlebowl your competitors

 

I think maybe it's been disallowed as Shawn clearly states in the TOS that it's not allowed to sell/lease weight. So, if they don't allow you to link out to sites you don't own that takes care of it, I guess.

 

Was wondering if I'm still able to create new accounts or that I'm banned for life...

It seems that my domains are somehow still in use and therefore I cannot register new accounts.

I can provide a list of domains if that's neccesary.

 

Well..let me ask this. What if people started taking their competitors links and started adding them to link farms? Would that have a bad effect? If yes, then anyone can tamper with their competitors rankings.

 

it's not really something I'd recommend you to do, but yes, if you spam every blog with your competitor's link it's likely to be penalized.. but you'll need a lot of spam for that and not sure it will help at all, but there're people who do it

 

I believe that Google Bowling is real and the big "G" does have an unnatural link penalty in place ... and the coop would certainly be a potent weapon to try to do something like that if you were nefarious. In fact, I've seen people comment that they threw "too much" weight at sites and got 'em banned.
