    Is Mandira Bedi is a must for Cricket?

    Real Cricket lovers like her? I think not.. why you need a girl dressed horribly to present a cricket telecast and tell the viewers that " we will be back after a short break, dont go away"

    For those wondering who is Mandira Bedi: She is the host in the Post Match & Pre Match show of SET MAX's telecast of Champions Trophy Cricket 2006.

    If you watch Sony's SET MAX you can see her. She is the host for the Champion's trophy cricket telecast, which is now on that channel. SET MAX started this trend of displaying her in the last world-cup at South Africa.

    i don't really agree. If you used to watch the good old team of harsha, Geoffrey(espn star one) one cannot stand the people other channels bring out. and especially SetMax. I don't have a problem with bringing girls into cricket, but making cricket some kind of wedding ceremony is foolish.

    anyway i reckon southafrica series is with espn-star.. thankfully :D

    Yes these SET MAX and other channels are making CRICKET a comedy by inviting people like Mandira who doesnt know the basics of cricket (atleast it seems like that ). I too want to see those days of serious cricket presentation by Harsh Bogle & team (Boycot, Ravi Shastri, Gavaskar etc.) Why BCCI are allowing this kind of comedy show ?.. they are just behind money, rather than cricket .. i think
