for targeted keywords (or your articles) so unless you get on the first page in the SERPS you won't get enough traffic to generate money. Is this right? as you are getting the right type of visitors (buyers) as opposed to readers if you kept churning out articles (so you're getting people who are looking for a solution)....
Not at all. I have some affiliates we trained on AdSquare Network who rank on 2-5 pages of the major search engines and are still doing well over $1000/month profit.. PER SITE. Don't focus solely on backlinks.
Only if you don't know what you are doing. You can't build enough backlinks to get to the first page in competitive niches. In competitive niches there are other factors that come into play. Get yourself a Google Analytics Account. Look at all the things Google is measuring. Time on site, entrance and exit pages, ratios of traffic sources. If you think all you have to do is build backlinks then you are pretty early in your understanding of what it takes to be successful online.
Backlinks is something that must continue on a daily basis BUT so does content creation to stay competitive. Seo is something that can't just be done once, it is an ongoing and MUST BE adaptive method of marketing unless you found the 1 niche that makes you a ton of money BUT has zero competition also known as the unicorn. to make money online form your site, you need people to visit your site and buy the product or services you sell. SEO and link building is only one way of getting traffic. you can get traffic in few other ways like PPC campaign, article marketing, youtube/video marketing, etc. if you keep building backlinks and get ranked on thr front page, you will get traffic and will not have to spend advertising dollard to run PPC campaign on a daily basis for which lot of people prefer that route. you invest some time and/or money in link building and rip the reward later. if you want quic result, then run PPC campaing and try out article marketing
You are basically saying that SEO is the only way to make money online. That's stupid. There are tons of ways to be successful in online industry. SEO might not be stable after 1-2 years so you have to mix it with other ways of internet marketing methods in order to succeed.
After you have reached the first page, the deal is still about backlinks, if you stop building backlinks, you will lose your prosition.
Well, backlinks do not mean everything. The trafficã€the rank and the quality of your website make great sense to your order.Experts think backlinks are not that useful in some situations.
It depends on how you intend to make money. If your an online retailer then high listings in Google is important however, you still have to work on word of mouth, sponsorship, coupon codes, mailing lists, blogs etc.
I still say content is king. Also you need to rely on other means besides search engines to give you traffic. blogs, forums, articles, ads, social networking, directories are all very effective ways of driving traffic to your site.
Just getting backlinks won't help you. Still there are many advantages of them. Getting online money is not that easy still you need to set your directions well. Either join affiliate programs or any referral programs.
Not just Backlinks. It Involves many things bcuz Making money online requires certain things to be successful. these things are traffic so google ranking supports it, salespage(conversion rate), price of product. I hope this helps
To make money you need visitors, to get visitors you need to have your site seen by as many people as possible, thus being on the first page is one way to get those visitors.
Not at all. It's only one step of the process in earning money. You can do SEM and make money too, just got to monitor your ROI.
What makes you think this can happen anyway? Just because a webmaster does the seo does not mean he will land on page one, two, or there, even. It just does not work that way. On top of that, even if you are lucky enough to land on page one, and it is about luck, just about all of the traffic is notorious for not buying anything. They jump from site to site out of sheer boredom. They usually do this at work. Window shopping, sort of speak. In addition to that, they are looking for free stuff, so.... Sorry, but that is the reality of seo, and organic traffic.
Being on the first page of search engines certainly does help, but what is most important is how your site(s) is/are monetized. If you have a good monetization strategy that converts well, you will make a higher income. Design an informative, organized site that offers a strong monetization strategy and you will surely have success.
