Is Mac better for Java devellopers

    Hi,

    I heard through a blog post that a Mac is better for Java Devellopement. Is it true?

    I soon wil be develloping more deeply in Java and just wanted to have a clue, also I have saw many picturs of devellopers using a MacBook, Is it for Java?

    I work with JAVA fine using JCreator on Windows machines.

    I don't Java development depends on OS.You develop java in any OS as it is platform independent.

    well, if its just about the look and graphics, u can have ur xp look almost like mac os

    i will prefer windows system

    That's a lie. If this person doesn't know anything a bout Linux, they may struggle even setting up and IDE. Also, why don't Mac and PC count? Many people use them, and they have better GUI and ease-of-use than Linux. I love Linux, but give the OSes some credit, they are good at what they are for.
