Is links really this simple?

I checked one of my domains today and i have a PR3 an old domain. When i checked WHY i have PR3 there is ONE PR6 blogger post that link to me. That is it one link and i have PR3. Is is really that simple?

yes, that's simple. As long as you get enough PR juice, you will get better PR

 

Where do you check your links? Maybe all the links are not showing as yet. A good example is Alexa that tends to show the link upgrades quarterly .

 

High quality links can help much to promote website.But it seems not so simple,maybe you also do well for your website,like content ,keywords,etc.

 

The domain is about 8 years now i think, well it is only 2 links and they been there for long time from 2004.

 

For the PR, it is very straight forward, PR is all about PR juice and the only way to get PR juice is from dofollow backlink

 

Its true. you got pr from pr 6 blogger. can you mention that blogger name

 

The more higher pages linking to your site, the better ranking your page/site will get. Its as simple as that

 

Congrats! Being mentioned and backlinked by an authority blog is an excellent thing. However, it is not all about PageRank. It is the domain popularity that counts when it comes to rankings as well.

 

Wow I really wish it was that simple, it seems to be but it's hard to make it that simple! High PR is the key in getting quality links in my opinion.

Sure aldis but we are talking about PR here not traffic.

 

It IS that simple, but then again sometimes things just don;t work out that way for whatever reason.
