read a lot about link wheels, back-linking and so many other web2.0 methods...i'm one for saying...not one way is wrong, they're all effective to some degree but i wanted to share with you guys my method. it's just one method and i wanted to hear your guys's take on it.

i've actually seen results in 1 week from the big G.

    i grab 10 keywords...create a sub-domain for example, let's say it's a t-shirt selling site... www.tshirts.pogey.com

i write content for the specific keyword and place links to each of the other 9 landing pages/blogs i've created...as well as back to the main site www.pogey.com.

i used this one method and was able to get a long tail keyword #1 on google in less than a week.

doesn't work for every site or kw obviously but the kw was competitive.

has anyone else tried this type of link wheel strategy?

what are some of your methods aside from the back-linking to your site from web2.0 sites?
