I am currently doing Directory Submission now.

Do you think link from Directory is a Quality link? Since it is general Directory.

I wouldn't call them quality links. They help, but it takes a lot of submissions before you find the handful of directories that actually help you in the SERPs.

I've found that there are several niche directories out there that give quality links that are related, give some traffic, and are ranked in the search engines.

I agree with the above statement. I don't think that any backlinks will harm you, so get as many as you can. However, related links will always help you the most. A general directory backlink might not do much, but if you get a lot of them, it will help. Or you could just have few high PR related backlinks to help. Concentrate on getting backlinks from related sites, but get other backlinks if you can too.

Links from directories can help if you target some not so competitive terms in the titles you use for directory submissions. Try building links for long tail terms, such links can really help.

Also submitting to a list of directories relevant to your niche would help.

The thing is that nowadays google does not place as much importance towards link put on a directory anymore. Unless it is located on a directory with lots of traffic, it won’t serve much purpose somehow.
