is link exchange useless for page rank?

Yeah one-way link building is the best one but having link exchange with High Pr websites is not so worthless. before doing linkexchange you have to check the quality of a site.

 

Its good if you can manage to get one way or three ways links rather than two way link exchange. Sometimes its may also help in getting some traffic from link partner's site besides just PR juice.

 

yes,i do think one way or 3 ways links are useful for our page rank.but i am not sure the two way link exchange, so do you mean we just get some traffic only not including improving our page rank by two way link exchange?

 

Link exchange is useless for PR but they are good for getting some good traffic. But if you have some nice content then you dont need to bother of link exchange at all.

changing links costs time, and some high PR link back is useful for sure, the where the links are from, is the site content related to your site, the quantity and variety of the links that linking to you, and many factors are useful.

You can try to build more smaller sites to make one way link back to your main one if possible.

I do not like exchange links also, time costing in writing email, but if you can add more high related site, it is good!
