is link exchange useless for page rank?

I have seen a lot of discussions about building quality links with high pr websites.but more people think it is helpful to build the one way backlinks for the site,but the link exchange strategy between two sites is useless for seo...... So how do you think it?

I do not like link exchange.. there are so many factors that you need to check on regular bases with all your link partners. so this way it takes more time and give less result if you did incorrectly.....

 

Yes they are useless and people should stop it..I will say just write good content and people will link to you naturally..

 

No, Link exchange is good for the page rank of any website.If will be exchange link with higher PR and quality sites u ll get benefits to ur website PR

 

Link exchange was a good source to gain PR, but in my opinion, google does not think so. Not link building supports only good ranking, not High PR. It is at least in my case

 

don't try to make fool others...if u don't want (u will see ur result in front of you) then no need to say others..

Link exchange is use to have a good quality back links. However, if you supposed to think that this can make a rank to your site, you are probably wrong. Actually the used of link exchange is to help your site to get more back links so that it will have a good ranking to search engines.

 

Link exchanges are the best method in order to get high PR. My blogs got the nice PR's only because of link exchange. This is my personal experience.

 

1 to 1 link exchange and next to worthless, especially if your link is placed in a link directory.

3 way link exchange is better, but the best form of link exchange is topical links from content pages in a multi user system such as ours. That is very powerful.

Now Google does not give much importance to Link exchange.Quality One way linking is recommended by most of the webmasters.

 

When you exchange link, your website pr is leaking to the other party website in the same way their website pr is leaking to your site. So I prefer one way link building rather two way link exchange.

 

Link Building is directly effects to your website's page rank & google ranking. it's work slowly but effective.

 

Ideally you should do 3-way link building, so each site point's to a different one. Search engines haven't really picked up on this method yet.

Just try to get one way link.. if u cant then u can go for it. but always try to get links from high PR sites.
