Some website are requiring to put their link as exchange for the url that i submit to them? is it true that they are also putting or accepting mine? I am new here and don't have any experience in link building.. just a novice.. thanks and hope you cud explain it to me... i appreciate it so much
Most of the time those are automated and check for your link then right away add the link you submitted to their site so you can check. Use zrohder's link.
You can link exchange with a site which is relevent to your site and which has high page rank of home page and resource page.
Hiiiiii It actually depends If the page rank of your site is less than the site from which you are exchanging the links then it is good to exchange the links so that the page rank of your site can be increased but beware of "No follow" attribute sometime many spammers may cheat you by putting this tag in their code so that that link won't be count in you back links As crawler will not count that links.
Why not try a link exchange system like Receive Links. It places the links for you and makes sure they don't go missing and if they do gives you new ones. I love it and you should try. See my .sig for a free trial.
Link exchange is not as useful as it once used to be (even with relevant site). IMO it is just a little better SEO method than submitting to spam directories.
Link exchange only to related sites and always check your link partners if they put your links on their site.
Some of them are automated. If your link exchange partner email you asking to put their link on your site then put it but don't forget to check it. After a week if you found out that they will not linking back to you, then delete their link.
Link Exchange is reliable if u get quality, appropriate & high PR links from others for yr site. Yr partner sites having high pR than u n they accept to put yr link so u vl get benefits from it. Bt now google hasnt more consider to link exchange than one way links.
I've tried link exchanges a couple of times with very limited success. Articles have worked best for me by far.
Keys to Link Exchanges: 1. Link with related websites 2. Link for anchor text and also traffic, many webmasters don't appreciate traffic trading. Nearly half of our traffic comes from trading with other websites, and only a portion from search engines. I'm talking about 50,000 related surfers per day from link exchanges on our many websites, all productive traffic. How do you know if the traffic you're receiving is productive? See if it clicks. There are lots of cheaters out there and lots of sites that have very low quality traffic, who want to steal your quality traffic. Simple way to see if its clicking (and productive) is to put proper software on your website to track it -- see my sig for our script, Zero.
