I just want to take your opinions that, is link exchange is important to gain organic rankings? I feel that yes it is important, however, I want take experts opinion.

Yes Obviously, it's like getting referred from other websites. search engines consider links with good page rank when placing your website in Search Engine Results Page.

Links Exchanging is the process of exchanging or buying links between different site to get high page rank or traffic.
It is beneficial if Google Algo doest catch you.
But if it Catch you then they ban your website.

 

Hi guys yes link exchange is very important for search engine optimization. It is one of the best method to build back-link instantly. But it should be relevant. According to me three way link building is better for search engine optimization.

 

I think one way back link is better than link exchange , Its my personal opinion with experienced

Sorry, chap, but that is WRONG! I wrote a post on that one called "Are Links from High Page Rank Sites Worthless?". What you need are links from high page rank PAGES!!!! But you are absolutely right about not using paid link exchange.

Yes link exchanges are important because everyone thinks that they are not really valuable anymore. We've gone full circle in SEO, people discount link-exchanges when in the grand scheme of link-building they can be one of the most worthwhile investments of "Time" (there's another weird word!) Link exchanges can bring traffic. Imagine that a link that actually brings traffic rather than some random idea of link-popularity. Long live link-exchanges.

 

Definitely your link exchange should be high page rank. Otherwise you will be lose your actual page rank on search engine.

If you have 10,000 sites and want to filter them, you could do that by Page Rank.
Don't use Page Rank as a criteria for the selection though.
First find the sites, then filter them. But if all the site have a Page Rank of 0, that doesn't mean that they are worthless.

I have PR0 websites and PR5 websites, all of them are valuable, and alink on my PR0 website can bring you a lot of traffic.

 

I think link exchange is good thing and can easily and rapidly grow your website and appear it on search engine but when you do it then track and check your backlinks where you have exchange because there are many webmasters who betrayed in this case.
