Is Link Building sufficient to get rankings in Search Engines?

I am currently working on my website and doing link building, just want to know that is link building is sufficient to get rankings in search engines.. ?

 

No. SEO involves a lot other factors apart from backlinks.

 

Before starting link building, You have to start with on-page optimization. If you have done accurate on-page optimization it means your more than 50%work is over. Accurate on page optimization is must for getting result in search engine.

Now a days,we can not rely only on link building.We also need to take care of other things like quality article,SE friendly navigation structure and other ON page related work.If we will implement all techniques with quality link building only then we can get rank high in Ses.

i think link building is not sufficient to get rankings in search engines, in seo required lot of other factors for get good ranking in search engine.

 

Linkbuilding is not enough.Bookmarking,directories,blog commenting is also very necessary for increasing rank.

 

unique content is also important with link building

Now days there are so many factors to rank in SERP
1st on page (Meta tags, content, H1 H2 tags, alt tags)
2nd Off page (the best and so far in my experiance is 3 way Link Exchange ), no need to do DS, SB, FP and other stuff like Blog commenting etc etc
3rd make Google plus Page (mandatory) of your company
4th make a blog and update it twice a week..

I wouldn't say on page and off page seo 50 % / 50 % . but rather 35 / 65 % , in behalf of off page seo (right backlink)..Nowadays google need random but still qualified backlinks distribitution from all web 2.0 gadgets.
