    I agree with you. One of the best working method is to create PBN (Private Blog Network) or buy it.

    High quality links - Links from domains with good metrics DA (Domain Authority) 20+, PA (Page Authority)20+, TF (Trust Flow) and CF (Citation Flow) both ~15.
    You can check DA and PA - moz.com/researchtools/ose
    You can check TF and CF - www.majesticseo.com

    Relevance - Article from which you get link, must be relevant. That means that if you writing about Cars, you should not receive links from Chinese websites about cheap jordans.

    Unique article - Copy - Paste don't work anymore. You can check uniqueness on copyscape.com

    Low OBL - Low number of external links from page. It's better to have link from URL with 5 links, that URL with 150 links. It's called link farms, they are not working.

    No. Link building is not dead. It has only become more sophisticated so that people are not able to manipulate the rankings.
