Is less than 100 exact keyword searches bad?

    I am struggling here my confidence is shot I haven't got anything on the first page in google in a while and am looking for ultra low comp keywords to get there to restore confidence, i.e low results, no big players, virtually no other competing pages. Trouble is these kinds of keywords get less than 100 exact searches a month is that a waste of time?

    Exact 100 keywords searched is good if this keyword is relevant to your business and location.

    Yes, it is good, or even you can choose a keyword up to 100-500 searched in month.

    It is only good for long tail keywords since they are very specific e.g 'buy cheap wordpress blogs' but might not be good for 'wordpress blogs' hope you get what i mean
