I have noticed a competitor rising in the SERPs and I have noticed they have changed their title to KEYWORD| KEYWORD then in the page description they have included the keyword twice, could this be the reason why they are rising? Checked their backlinks in site explorer nothing new there...
Of course it is very good for SEO of any site.if you are looking to get a good traffic as well as the rank. online casino online Bingo
Yes, this is most important for any website to have seo friendly url. I suggest you to have good SEO friendly url, give good meta keyword and description to attrack users and please avoid repeating any words in url or page which google can easily find as spam.
Do you mean they have changed their title tag with keywords they are targeting ? It is better optimize your title tag and meta description tag with keywords you are targeting.
I just want to say that every one should optimize a page for a particular keyword. Use it in the title, description, keyword and in the content also.
Of course u can post your Main keyword in your title tag. so you can get a good traffic as well as the rank
Yes using keywords in title section is good for SEO. If you you use your targeted keywords in title then it will help to rank your keywords quick and this will bring good traffic to your website.
It is something you "Must" do if you want your site to show up in search engines. Company name and domain name are useless to put in Title unless your company is a well known one like Macys or something.
with my experience, i have noticed a rise in SERP by using 15-25% keyword density in meta title and descriptions. I have recently developed a website, http://www.foodex.pk (its still in development) for Pakistani restaurants and food outlet phone numbers and locations. I have used this density percentage in all pages and at this very moment, my website is on 1st and 2nd page of google for a number of keywords. you can cross check it by searching 'dominos lahore' or domino's pizza lahore' on google.com.pk. my website is on 2nd page of google. and yes, as the website is still in development phase, i have not created any backlinks yet. All ranking till date is only because of a proper use of keyword density in both, meta tags and page content.
Your title should always be: KW | Business name. But repeating your KW twice in your title is kw stuffing, and that would be penalized.
In my experience you do not need to over-do the keyword. I typically have keyword at the beginning of my title, in the description (towards the beginning) and then as my <h1> tag. This has worked out well for me. If I can put it in the content naturally I do it, but I certainly don't put it in even when it doesn't look natural. A lot of times people do this, but this is a huge turn off to any actual website visitors. Whats the point of ranking high in the search engines if your website won't convert?
Mentioning ONCE the keyword in title is sufficient enough for meta title optimization. You don't have to repeat it twice in title or in description as meta description is not helping in ranking. Only meta title does. Other than that, you should concentrate more on back links. Your backlinks checker tool (Yahoo Site explorer) might not index or crawl the latest backlinks your competitor gets. Google is fast in detecting back links and this may result in the current ranking increase.
