Here is a link focused on most of your request : LINK

The advantages of using Joomla is that you have a dynamic site that can do a myriad of things. If you had to re-code what Joomla can do, it would cost you a lot more. Joomla is free.

Then harness the power of the popular Joomla CMS, similar coding to popular Mambo this CMS is one of my favorite in terms of functionality, power, and ease of use. Of course the large number of extensions available makes Joomla one of the best CMS available, and its 100% free.

At first glance the administrator's panel looks confusing especially to the un-experienced, but soon you will be amazed how well the layout and options work.

Joomla is an interesting and popular content management system. It is used to create websites and various other online applications with the combination of modules. You may begin thinking that this system seems to be difficult and complex but the reality is that Joomla has been designed in a very simple way and thus the working of this system is also simple.

I use Joomla and after tooling around and bit and buying Joomla for Dummies I have made it workable for me and my business. I initially paid a guy to set it up and have self taught from there. Recommend it. Although do like the clean lines of Wordpress.

That depends very much on the individual, their level of experience, how much they need to work to change Joomla! beyond its native deployment. I'm an experienced (5+ years) Joomla! user and I find it both a breeze to use and at times very frustrating.

Can anyone tell you how to use/install Joomla!? You've really got to roll your sleeves up and have a go.

Because Joomla! is a CMS the advantages it has over a "normal" website are numerous. One easy easy advantage is implied in the name CMS itself - Content Management. Let's put it this way - When I ran a 2000+ HTML page "normal" website almost every update had to be done by hand - e.g. If you removed a page from an article you would have to manually change links to the previous and next pages because the order has changed. With a CMS it does this automatically.

Other advantages - the community, support, numerous experts, templates, speed of deployment once mastered etc

I find it more easy to manage. Not a lot of skills are needed and you should surely get a handle of it over time.

    joomla easy to use:-

    1) if you have cpanel then go in fantastico and install joomla or joomla1.5 or you can upload files and install joomla it's very easy process.
    2) if you have template then put that template in template folder of files and now go in template manger and make it default and see how your website look like. now due to sample data u find there menu mis management that you can solve it by menu manager in administrator and after that just create articles from article manager and allot them to menu items from menu manager. Put your some time on menu manager and article manager you will get very soon how it's working it's really very easy.
    3) and now if you are looking for some extensions like seo bust-up , Google anlity or some thing else for your required website then find out these extensions.joomla.org and download that if that is free and upload it from admin install/ uninstall option and then go in module manager and activate that and see in it front side of website.
    4) and after it if you are looking for something changes in home page view or css then go in that template from admin template manager and edit HTML or CSS.
    5) and after it still there is you need some components then contact some experts like me to make a component for your website.

i think these points are enough to give you basic knowledge of install and management of a joomla website

I haven't used it but it seems pretty intuitive. VBulletin is my favorite so far though.
