    Hi all,

    is javascript what you would use to design a widget?

    Just wondering..

    I am looking for someone who knows how to code a widget that
    I could use on my site to let my members use to grow my site virally and to help them show get referrals and show ads etc..

    Id use a dynamically generated image using the php image library.

    Basically I would want a crisp, clean looking widget, maybe 125px wide at most...

    where members can choose the skin color

    that shows 2 random member text ads and 1 admin ad above that..Google-style, where members & admin can track clicks and under that a hyperlink that reads maybe "Place Your Ad Above FREE!" ...that links to my site with the members referral URL embedded

    I would like it to where members and admin can change their ads any time they want.. and would want the setup as easy as possible...

    I would use php for this with a database backend. A simple admin/mange page that would show different information depending on if it was a admin or member accessing it.

    Admin can edit any ad but members could only edit there own, this could be integrated into an existing backend if you are running a cms or forum software.

    the look of the add could be controlled by a simple style sheet so it would be easy to change the edit.
