Is it worthwhile posting in Facebook groups?

Is it worth spending time posting blog posts in relevant facebook groups? I have been doing that, occasionally reading others' posts, liking, commenting and sharing. However, it seems there are no reciprocals at all. Anyone care to leave feedback? May be am I missing some action?
    Thanks in advance.

Unless the users choose to view the user posts it'll rarely show up in the main feed.

I have however seen people that post on a lot of pages and they're able to bring in a decent amount of traffic.

If your Facebook group consists of a strong community that constantly checks back on the content flow, then i'd say yes - they'd see your posts and if your post title/excerpt is catchy and attention-grabbing enough to catch their attention, it'll result in click-throughs. Make sure that your content is strong so that few visitors don't brush you off as spammy or not worth their while. First impressions count, don't forget!

Try to find a group that is actively communicating and not just spamming links

I thing maybe you are not doing it right.
For you achieve target, you have to start posting your relevant comments in relevant groups or pages to your niche.
You don't just post anywhere and expect people to follow up with what they don't have interest in.
    Good luck!

I have seen many Facebook groups with some good information and happy to get notifications. Post in the groups which targets your niche and of course they would promote your site for free ;) Meanwhile they are around groups with 1k+ members with spam links. So It's hard to find a good group.
