Besides the fact that you posted this in the wrong area I do have experience with this website! AC is a great place to make a little extra cash when you write articles! Of course if you write for a client its common courtesy to not publish their articles anywhere else. The big thing about AC is that they will pay you upfront payment. Most of the articles I have on my AC I got between 2-10 USD on. The longer your article is will increase this along with the topic. Look on the assignment desk for topics but do NOT accept them there because they wont allow you to order upfront payment on your articles! If you need any help your more than welcome to PM me!

They pay US based writers only and from what I have heard their payment rates have dropped (stand to be corrected on this one). I am 99% positve that in the long run it is more profitable to write either for your own site or for clients (or both).

It is kind of long term investment actually. The better your articles are, the more will be the viewers generated. More the views are, more revenues you earn. Other than that, You can work for particular assignments as well for clients if you are from United States, but the pay is not worth it.

By the way, I believe this is not the correct section to start this thread. I think it is better suited to "CopyWriting" section.

AC has a high ranking, so theoretically it should be a good place for articles even if you have published them elsewhere, for the link. I've recently done this, but wasn't able to get a live link inside the body of the article. There may be a way, but I didn't see it. I have to go back and study the (somewhat lengthy) sign-up and publishing procedure. Just my $.02

I have found AC fun over the past couple of years. It’s certainly not a scam. They don’t pay much anymore, but then they do pay residuals for work that I wrote two years ago.
