Hi guys Im developing a new section for my site and i checked some related keywords on overture .Ive found out that one keypwords first bid was $15 and 37 bid which was last was $0.97 and second one ,first buid again $15 and 106 which was the last bid was $0.5 .other keyword bids are same as that too. i checked both on google site and Adsense sandbox and there are plenty of ads for this topic.i saw in somewhere that from differce between values of first and last bids and and amount of bids that can figure out that weather it worth or not .im new to google adsense so hope u guys can give me few tips about this
adsense costs you nothing but space. Try it out and see if it's worth that mild burden on your userbase....
ok its like this i have seen that most highly bided ($20 -$40) keywords doen't work like that when it comes to adsense , i mean we woon't get paid for clicks for that dreamy figures.so the keywords im goona use for my site are bidded like 100 people $15 for starting bid and $0.05 for that last one .what do u think about this kinda keywords
bluearrow: if you get served those ads then you'd get paid those sort of levels. I'd imagine that a $40 keyword would generate $30 clicks if you got given the top ads. I don't know what it takes to get the top ads, but it would make sense to me if they got given to the sites with the top SERPs.
the sub site is not just for adsense and i thought its better use it.so while checking for the top keywords i checked the bids too. jlawrence :"would make sense to me if they got given to the sites with the top SERPs " if thats so , all highly paid ads must have given to top ranked sites ?!
EPC is depends on conversion rate. If you have $40 bids keyword on your site but the conversion rate is low (visitors from your site didn't buy anything from advertiser's site) you will still get low EPC Here is a quoted from google email I'd received regarding this matter. This is what they call Smart Pricing System.
How then they determine the amout they pay to adsense publisher, and how they figure out which site is valuable?
Ask them. I have no answer for that because I'm not working with google. I'm adsense publisher like you all and if I have any curiousity, I will just email adsense support and normally they will reply to my question.
If you have a real website with real content, of course it is worth it to use adsense, it is like someone just giving you money for something you already have. If you are asking if you can play the system and make stuff up based on the highest rated keywords you find, then the answer is maybe... However it is likely to be short-lived and it is possible you will never see a penny.
