Is it worth to start a forum

I've started about 5 forums in my lifetime. All were someone successful, but none ever made serious profit.

 

Have you read out the adsense article about megagamers forum success in the adsense blog?

 

Go for the forum because in the short term it will sell your site to your users. You will have users who will become more loyal. They will come back often! This might not get you revenue in the beginning but in the long run it's good for both revenue and user activity (+traffic).

 

its a mission if you come under attack ... whether from spammers or hackers

but once you got 30 daily active users, thats when you start to get a turnkey profit soltuion
