    hey,
do you think is it worth?
and how much will you pay to these kind of domains?
just want to know your thought and do a survey.;)

I think it depends on who you ask- I'm personally building a LLLL.COM portfolio while they are so cheap- they are due to run out by the end of this year so for me I'd say definately buy them while they are cheap.. You may be surprised that they are over $100 by next year. Most with good letters already sell for 1k and above

if you can find pronounceable or CVCV/VCVC/CVVC* for low prices, I'd get them now and sit on them for a while. premium CVCV names can go for $400 easy.

    *C = consonant
    *V = vowel

I used to watch all the 4 letter domains being dropped and some quite nice ones came up but like above they get dropped every day so felt no real rush to register

Well if you have money and want to invest it in domains then 4 letters would be the safest choice as they are getting picked up day by day.

If you wait for all of them to be picked up and then go to buy some domain names then you will get them at higher prices. :(

Buying 4 letter domains is like buying Beanie Babies. It is very speculative with no inherent value. I may kick myself next year when speculators are buying and selling them at much higher prices but I don't understand why a real business end-user would want to spend big bucks to buy a nonsensical QYZV domain.

just for my knowledge, if a domain name expires on the 5th of a month(hypothetically), can you extend it and reissue your services before time or Do u have to wait for the clock to strike 12, wait for it to get back into the market and re-buy it? (basically risking your online business)?
Pls excuse me for the dumb question but i believe i'd get the right answer here.

you can renew whenever you want. you could extend your .com up to 10 years in the future if you wanted.

You may not get why a buisness would by a nonsensical QXYZ name but QXYZ.com is easier to remember than wepayallclosingcosts.com which is an actual site but I had a hard time remember it just to type it out..
and with the huge amount of websites- you want or companies want either short or rememberable hence why you've got digg, sedo, ebay. Plus not everyone can spell- GFFINANCIAL.com...people are spelling impared. I know I am- and people are ready to capture your misspelt traffic-
Hence why 4 letter domains are good to have even to speculate. The guy that bought MYYP.com had no clue it could be my yellow pages.com but that's easier to remember and type than my yellow pages.com- MYYP sold for 11k recently by the way.. Nonsensical QXYZ as it was.

I lose some traffic to typing errors for some of my developed sites. Shorter names are easier to remember.

QXYZ.com can be acronym as well.

Can't think of any acronym that would suite this domain but who knows.

If you look at what is available in four letter domain names today it is actually pretty dismal. Lots of Q or Z or V's with just about all meaningful acronyms being long gone. "Experts" tell us that 4 letter domain names will be rising in value substantially as early as next year, this is probably true to some extent but meaningless 4 letters will have less upward pricing pressure. Still the point made by beautyinmd is valid, people in general are spelling impaired and if a domain name is not a great type in then the next most desirable elements become short and easily memorable. I purchased mrwq.com on spec based on this premise but also am prepared to develop it as a website contruction forum "Mister Web Questions"

In answer to the question you pose: Don't pay more than reg fee for anything in a four letter domain unless it's a real beauty. The four letter gold rush hasn't started yet and the "experts" have been wrong before.

Well, 3 letter domains are worth something now.

I remember when lists of available ones were posted all over the domains forums.
