Is it worth to purchase vBSEO?

I purchased vBSEO and my forum is being ranking high but server performance got worse after it :'(

 

do you think its good for arabic forums?
i was looking at site description of VBSEO arabic forum,and may be it should be longger

go ahead buy it. Then you will be back here at DP, trying to sell it to someone else. After you realize it did NOTHING to help your forum or created a HIGH CPU usage. Get Zoints or use the default vB SEO. It's pretty good already. If you don't believe me, go to vBulletin.com and check the forums on the vBSEO discussion there. The vB team there themselves reccomend you to use the SEO already in vB.

And honestly, do you want to pay $149 for vBSEO, when that much money can buy you another vB licence?

 

i think its not worth the money. I did by VBSEO for one of my forum and i get one user a week or month in vbseo enabled forum. The other forum I chose not to buy any VBSEO and I get 80 -100 users per day without any VBSEO.

VBSEO is very good in marketing themselves. Thats all

heres a theory, what if vBSEO offered to give it for free to all of the BIG vB forums, claiming it would enhance their sites SEO even more?

just a thought, but a very nice marketing tactic, if they did do exactly that.

and we all know that testimonials have been faked in the past, and will continue to be faked in the future, get a real person, give them a free copy of vBSEO/some cash for writing a great testimonial

i just really felt the need to save people 150$

from what i have read, vBSEO seems to help a teeny tiny bit, and lots of users complain that their performance got worse, my assumption, is that if you are a really really big forum with VERY high performance and 150$ has become chump to you, get it, who cares. but as for us little people, its not enough to boost us to the top of search engines, and a vBSEO representative shows up here, most likely with the search terms "does vBSEO work" and came here to protect his companys investment, cant really blame him though, any business would do that, I would do that.
