Hello, I'm planning to start creating and working with micro/mini niche websites. I would like to try something with low competition for a start, then move further on. While searching for ideas in google keyword tool I found a two-word keyword that gets ~2400 searches a month (exact keyword option), there is almost no competition, average CPC is said to be 5,5$. Domain name mykeyword.com is free, I think I could get first google position for this keyword withouth too much problem. I already have two websites in that niche, I could put backlins to my new site in them, this should make ranking easier. Still, I would like to ask some questions and make sure, whether creating a new site could bring a little bit of profit. In order to explain and formulate my questions better, let's pretend that my keyword is "valentine cards". So, keyword "valentine cards" has 5,5$ CPC, but reverse "cards valentine" gets 1k searches and only 0,1$ CPC. Why is there such a difference? If I create a website valentinecards.com, can I expect to get high CPC for adsense clicks? I know there's hardly any way I could get 5,5$ for a click. What price would be realistic and likely? Thank you for your assistance
So ingenious. What makes you think that I'm planning to create a crap site? In fact, it would be a site, where people would find information and downloadable resources that might take tons of time to find somwhere else. I'm sure that visitors would find it useful. Still, I have to point out that your remark has nothing to do with this topic and questions I have asked.
No one know until you try, just go try, only $10 for domain and cheap hosting could do for this riset Where do you get your CPC value ? sometimes it is not accurate, so many factor for the value, just go the try and you will know is it worth or not
I got CPC value from google keyword tool. Once you register to google adwords, you can see average CPC for every keyword
