I am interested in online marketing and after reading many books and blogs and I don't think that SEO is the answer to online marketing. All the books i have read suggest that content marketing is the best beacause if you offer something valuable other sources will refer you and this is the most important factor in Goole Rankings. I have not applied online marketing. I am starting this month with an Amazon product and an ecommerce website. I would like to know the thoughts of some more experienced people in the field.
There's really not that much to it. No need to read books and what not. Google has long outlined their best SEO practices for webmasters. The thing is nobody follows them, instead they come up with a bunch of nonsense that doesn't work. This is what Google thinks a good SEO is: http://static.googleusercontent.com.../search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf
I suggest that you carefully study SEO as you are going to want the benefits that good SEO can bring to your business.
In a competitive industry today we will be needing SEO for the business and this is to help your site find by the target audience. A process of establishing your business in the related field and building reputation with the users.
SEO works but it takes time Its good keyword research Quality content Social shares Backlinks Engagement on your site (comments from visitors) Time is something you can't get back.. but it can be done..
I would certainly say so... you could have the best, most well coded, most unique and informative website the world has ever seen - but if google cant find it, no one can. Having a good search engine position for a competitive keyword is literally priceless, it can me a difference of thousands or possibly millions of $. Having said that, what many people don't appreciate is that SEO takes time, you might have all the techniques in the book but it still takes time for google to trust your website and adjust rankings accordingly, especially if you are looking at a highly saturated keyword!
I believe high-quality content is the most important issue for websites in every category. You need patience and wait for the results. But SEO is an important part of the big picture. Do not hurry up but begin to learn it slowly, you will need it if you have big goals.
Well, as always it strongly depends on what you want to achieve and do ... It's always quality over quantity, high traffic isn't everything there is to it. You can fully ignore SEO and PPC for example and still be successful, but I don't know your specific situation ...
Both SEO and content marketing are extremely important. It will take you time to learn SEO, but it's impossible to engage your website without it. When I've started I didn't realize how important it is. I've started to create really qualitative unique content and was 100% concentrated on content marketing. Tht website was great and useful. But I've heard about it from my friends and family. I've hired SEO specialists and the difference was huge! I didn't have enough time to learn SEO at that moment, but now I've taken the course to do it by myself. So take time to learn both - SEO and content marketing! Good luck!
You are right but here is many ways to earn with online but SEO is the one of the best thing to earn online.
SEO has changed a lot since the last major updates. It's not so easy anymore to rank top. If you follow a white hat strategy and offer great value to your visitors it still is a great method to pull in more quality visitors. But as told you must focus on your website first, and the rest is easier than focusing on a junk site and doing seo on that.
It depends what you're trying to achieve. Content Marketing and SEO are related but they're really not the same thing. Content marketing is the hot thing right now and has been for a few years. It's definitely effective and takes time. SEO is a general term for all the things you do that make your site rank better and show up in searches. They include, but are not limited to: your traffic, your site code, your backlinks. There's a lot you can do to enhance your SEO and it starts with how well your site is optimized for it and continues with your marketing efforts. Both SEO and Content Marketing are effective tools for overall growth and development of your site and business but don't choose one over the other. Do both. The better content you create = more people like and share it = more site traffic = more orders = more people talking about and sharing your product = more backlinks = better SEO. Is it worth it for you to "learn SEO?" Well, what do you mean? Do you mean you want to learn how to optimize your site and target keywords? Or do you want to go to school for 4 years and learn how to write clean, SEO friendly code? Both are "worth it" to some extent but the latter may not be worth your time at this point. So again- they're related but they're not the same thing and it's not a "A or B" choice. You'll need both to some extent. For now, focus on building a clean, user-friendly website and if you're building it in WordPress use any SEO Plugin (Yoast is a good and popular one) and they can help you for the time being. From there you can continue to learn and grow.
