Is it worth sticking with?

Hi,

Looking through the threads here, people are talking about a weight of 7k plus most of the time; I am a super bantum 1800, I have 2 ads on every page of my site, only about 160 pages in total.

So, with such a low weight will I gain? I am happy to keep the ads as a sort of thank you for the help the forum has given me, and would include more if I could change them to text links, or format them so the look part of the page when there are more, as I have seen on other pages (a bit of help with this would be recived with thanks!)

I would place 5 plain text links on your site and see what the weight goes up to.

Even having said that, you can still get some nice Kw's with 2,000 weight.

 

the lowest weight I've tried was 1000, and I got about 10 backlinks on msn in a week.

 

I'm testing on my blog and have a weight of 180 which has given me one BL on MSN. I'll certainly be using it on other sites as and when I switch hosts. Are you actually losing anything at the moment, if not why not just stick with it.

 

You are right, I am losing nothing - once I sus how to get plain text links I will be a little happier with the overall appearance

If you go to the setup instructions in the Coop Tool section, you will see a selection box at the bottom of the ad_network.php file html code. There you can select text only and the code will be shown for test ads. Just replace your current ad_network.php file with this and you should have what you want.

To get just text links choose "Only Text Link" in the drop-down box in the "Setup Instructions." If you need help let me know.
