Does it pay good enough? in which cases is it profitable ? how much it pays per search ? i have a slightly hi bounce rate (75%) after an average 1:40 min in the page.. if i out google searches available and make people search from it before leaving directly to google... will i monetize ? i have around 700 UV/day
I am not making much from Search at all... I make about 50 cents a day from it and I usually make 12$ a day from Content. I'm about to remove Search, it is really not worth it.
dont count on seach unit for making much money. if you have a lot of visitors and have an extra spot where you can just throw a search box in, do that. one thing to remember that visitors have to click twice, once on the search box and another time on the search results for you to get credited for the click and not many visitors go thru it. i myself never had much luck with it so i dont use it anymore
Doesn't really convert for me. The rate is like less than 0.5% but I still put it there so that visitors can have easier access to site information.
Works great for me, this month so far I have a 7.39% CTR. Not worth making space for it, but if you have sapce to fill, doesnt harm to put it in.
Works well if you have a large site and you set it up to search your site only. The added advantage is that it can open in a new window as well so your visitor does not leave your site. Acorn7
Search Adsense works great for me too. I site that I recently sold was generating about $4-5 daily only from adsense searches. The site wasn't small. I think if you own a small website, it's not worth it.
