Is it worth purchasing a Keyword Analyzer Tool?

Hey all, havn't posted in a few days, been working on my site a lot and been busy with exams and all. I have a question. I've been trying to find more niche keywords for my site and people have helped out a lot here and I thank them. I was curious; however, is it worth purchasing one of those fancy keyword analyzer tools. Up to now I've been checking keywords by using the free tools such as the "Overture Keyword Selector" and "Keyword Tracker."

I think they're helping, my hits have been going up slightly but that could be due to just adding content constantly and my site getting older. But to clarify is it worth spending a couple hundred bucks on those keyword tools. I have a small website and am not making much at all of adsense so I think it wouldn't be that beneficial and I should be able to get by without them. I really just want to know who uses them and if they help that much.

As always thanks for your time and good luck on your next goal. I have mine set, just trying to hit a steady buck a day now. P.S. If anyone needs help with PHP and MYSQL I'm working with both a lot lately so feel free to ask away.

    But check out nichebot.com
Enter your main keyword and it will show some interesting search terms that can help you.

    Hi James,

I've never purchased a keyword analyzer tool, so unfortunately I can't advise you in this area. I can, however, recommend a two keyword tools that have been very helpful to me:

    1. Good Keywords - a free keyword tool that allows you to see the keywords people are searching for (in various engines) that are related to yours

    2. Wordtracker - you can purchase a one day subscription to this service for around $8.00 US, and it usually lasts around three days. You can obtain all kinds of valuable keyword information using this service.

    HTH,
    Sam

Keyword Elite is a top class tool if you're serious about keyword research.
