I was thinking about paying to get listed on Yahoo, but is it really worth it?

Paying for inclusion in their directory? Or as an advertiser to show up at the top of the heap in a search?

    1. I'd say its worth getting listed in Yahoo directory as you become bigger it should be something you do. Even just to show your legit and such.

    2. Many people would agree Yahoo would give directory listed websites more weight factor when ranking, which would make sense as they are manually reviewed.

I rank #2 and #3 for my most recent targeted set of keywords in Yahoo. #1 is not in the directory either.

I don't use Yahoo that much so I don't really understand the potential of being listed there...like is DMOZ worth more than a Yahoo listing?

Look a listing in Yahoo or DMOZ may help. Im just saying that I have done it without either and it is very possible to do so.
