"I ain't payin' nobody for nuthin'",
    but that's just me.
If you are going to pay, I think you can do better than that.
    Especially 50 bones!
You can get 10 ($5) links that are the same or better PR. (Or 5 ($10) links)

If you look hard you can find < $20 directories that have PR 4-5 on inner pages ;)

For $50 i can give you 2 pr5 permanent links exactly related to your Niche :)
    i dont think that 2 pr0 and pr2 links are worth $50/year.

you can find plenty of PR4 links in the freebies section...all the more reason not to pay for anything.

Personally no I dont think its worth it which is why I don't list my sites on directories like these. There considerably overpriced when as you say their inner pages have low PR.

in my opinion, being a trusted web site in google eyes is more important than the page rank of the subpapages. both of them are old sites and they are getting visits by search search robots and the last think i think the subpages will get page rank on nest page rank update

Lets look at it this way, these are very high quality directories. I've tried to list a few and I've found out that they are extremely picky when it comes to listing their sites. (read: mine got rejected)

Most webmasters can get much better prices for PR2 pages, you can too if you search around a bit. However its hard to say if the search engines will give a good amount of link weight to sites listed on high quality directories like this. Its the luck of the draw I guess.

Then everyone saying these are top of the line. Although they both have pr6 on Home page but inner pages are no good pr0-pr2, So why should one be paying $50 x2 that too for one year?

thats a lot of money...If you have a quality site you can do some link baiting which takes time but usually gets you better links

I've tried it, actually, and I don't think I got value from it.

I've also found a little research can get you good PR links for free. Go looking for blogs related to your niche and post comments, not all of them tag on nofollows.

I tried to get quality links for free. It's useless to pay if you're not sure that you will surely benefit from that links.

a $50 link should also give you some traffic....you are not going to get any traffic from those Aviva Links

If you're looking for PR, obviously don't buy those links ... you need to shop around, there are bound to be directories that do have decent PR on the inner pages for the categories you seek.

    Don't expect traffic ... I doubt you'll get it!

    So, in summary keep searching!

ditto, I have a high paying spot for one site, but I doubt I'll pay for another one.

Look at the page where your link will be. Does it contain PR? Thats the question.

There is an ongoing debate as to whether the PR of the homepage is more important or the PR of the page where you are listed, or a combination of both. In my experience, the most important is the PR of the page where you are listed, and recently the homepage PR has shown more significance, as an indication of trustworthiness or age, not necessarily found on an internal page. It still is best to look at the PR of the page where you will be listed and if it is 0-2, maybe that is not what is best for your ad budget. Just my 2cents.
