Adwords can be a real minefield for the beginner. I have a certain amount of expertise in setting up Adwords accounts but I am by no means a veteran. Ask me any question you like and I will do my best to answer them or refer you somewhere. My advice would be to start small, maybe just a single ad and make changes as you go to improve performance. PPC can be a real winner if done the right way! Regards, Dave.
That's what you have to decide There is no way of knowing the worth without trying it. Go to the google traffic estimator and type some of the keywords you think people might search for. Look at the the cost per click that is quoted. You can pay less than this amount but usually, if you still want to appear on the first page of results, then paying half of the quoted amount per click initially is a guess of about how low you can go. You also must think of your profit margins. If they are low you can't pay high. Try AdWords on just a few keywords, make absolutely certain you track conversions. After a while you will know how many conversions on average you get for every 100 visitors. After that just lower your bid to a comfortable amount so that you pay less for each conversion than the profit you make.
Lots of testing and research and adwords will work for you. Just make sure not to blow your whole budget in 1 seconds. Good luck. -Patz

I tried adwords with $50 and made only one sale. So next time I should do some more research and choose converting keywords.
