Is google adwords really worth the time and money involved. If it is anybody have any good resources????
If you have a high converting website, strong business model, and good advertising campaign, then yes.
well, there is no really asnwer to that, if you running serious online store. and why is that, because, you can not really know, there you customers are coming from, when they bought something. You only can assume, that you used great keywords and you are on top of the page, then you google they search. i am still spending a lot of money for adwords, and sometimes doubt doing that. 75% i think its a waste, and at the same time, i am catching my self very often click on those ads, if i am looking for something important for me. I know, that there will be people advertising with serious business, who can afford to pay for high rank adv and high ppc.
Yes, it's worth it. Instead of making a new thread about it, read all the other threads with useful advice.
Yes, it's worth it if you know what you're doing. However, you can also lose a lot of money with it, so invest wisely.
As with most things based off of an algorithm, there's a fair amount of math involved in being successful with Adwords. If you're not capable of doing the math, tread carefully or get someone who can. The PPC field is still too new to be totally understood. Conversion is hardly understood by anyone outside of a handful of online retailers. Most are still just throwing stuff up on the net and hoping for the best.
