Is it worth it to upgrade a Prweb press release?

I've done a couple of press releases with them. I dont really get much traffic but its supposed to be good for generating linkbacks.

Everytime I order through them I get the basic, or a step up.
Well I was thinking of going all out and getting the highest package they have. I think its around $360. But thats a lot of money so Id want to get big results from that.
Anyone know if theres a big difference between the lowest one (arond $80) to this high one?
I mean is there a big big difference in the results and traffic coming in?

If your news wouldn't be likely to pull in things like newspaper coverage, don't bother with the media visibility package. It may move your release closer to the top of the listings, but you won't be getting all of the potential benefits out of the package.

Yes, there's a very big difference in the packages, but the differences are never exclusive to that choice... it also depends heavily on who your target audience is, whether or not the release is well-written, whether or not you have any real news to share or if it's just a spammy fluff release, etc. Only send one when you have real news. Always have them professionally-written or learn to write them well yourself. And use things like PRweb as a supplement and not an exclusive distribution model, and you'll find that in time you'll bring in more coverage / exposure, and the quality traffic and backlinks that come from it (and not just the lousy PR site links that get buried in archives quickly, mixed with scraper site links).

First of all, before you sign-up with any press release agencies, you need to do some ground research first:

    1. Go to Google news. Key in the keyword/s that you will be using in your press article. Take a look at the top news and note down the press agencies. You should notice a popular/prominent pres agency
    2. That is the BEST press agency for your given keyword/s as chances are Google is using that agency for that particular keyword/s

Personally, PRweb is a good investment. I did use it once and till now my release still is in the first page for keyword "website promotion"

Think free link exchanges would end up generating a lot more traffic then paying a pr firm. It's my own opinion. The rest is the content of the site. If no one wants to be there, it's just a quick in and out, never come back.
