Hello, i am confuse about buying multiple domain name.

Well, to the point. Actually, i already have domain name .info and my website theme for .info is just for blog and it has been 1 year ago i have now. But, i still need that again to buy another domain name like .com, .net, and so on. And maybe in order protect my brand name ( if i do seriously in advertising ). Is it worth it if i register multiple domain name?

    Thank you

You can register .info domain for very cheap price first year,
but you will pay the normal price for next year.
so i suggest you spend a few more to buy .com and .net both.

Your concern is very obvious. In fact, I suggest you to switch to .COM asap. ( most significantly, for brand name sake) However, you don't need to book all the TLDs available. Just don't let your blog be .info anymore.

I do agree with switching to COM, but you should not leave the INFO since you have worked hard on it for a year, and as soon as you leave it, someone else will take to profit from your job.

Now, if you want to brand your name you can take as many extensions as you want, but make sure you will be able to pay renewals over time or you will fall in the same problem, someone profiting from the name you made but you couldn't renew.

It would be best to switch you name to a .com (after the first year the prices tend to be the same). If is just a blog then registaring all the extentions is not necessary, but depends on the your brand and your business model.

If you want to earn serious money online ( live on that ), I suggest you register a lot of domains and host them in different IPS

If you have enough funds to be involved - yes that worth.
