Please post urls please and also if it helped your directory at all or not. By the way smub you need to fix http://www.idk.in/ its not xhtml valid anymore. Cheers
Not suer how much it helps but it doesnt hurt having a clean site http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=h...charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline
paidhosting You have obsession on valid xhtml But will say - it's good obsessions Keep on on building valid xhtml, be happy you can do that. It's a honour for website, however not so helpful as BACKLINKS. BTW. Most of my dirs are also valid
It is a issue, but not helps another issues like pr, backlink, etc.Of course 2 hours can be given for a website you have.It is a must my friend.
Oh i have given in total of about 1 full week to that website of mine, 2 hrs is nothing for me. It gives me an enjoyment as i learn new stuff, i code templates for others cause every template teaches me new tricks and i enjoy the whole experience. One day maybe i plan to open my own designing and coding company. But valid xhtml has any significance on serps ? Traffic , viewers etc. etc. ? Or its just to make it compatible with various browsers ?
Cool really? You got any link where i can read all about that ? I would like to boost my knowledge base.
it also allows your browsers to load faster, they spend less time "presuming" what errors should really be.
Q: can u make sense of a web page with bad css/ table structure all over! perhaps the bots wont too! and talking about browsers, valid xhtml/ html always helps, where IE will make up for all missing tags, firefox will show exactly how it understood the web page. guess other less known browsers should do worse, M.
you're right XHTML also allows users to see you have spent time and care on your site, making sure it validates...
Like others said, the issue with browsers is another reason to validate. Many times when I validate my design, i open up IE and it looks exactly pixel to pixel same as in FireFox.
Probably one of the most important things to look at for future design is that XHTML is accepted by all browsers including Mobile phone browsers.
yeah. i have been using my PSP or phone to browse the net recently if im desperate. so many sites look messed, except for the xhtml ones
