Is it worth even having Adsense on my site?

so i've had Adsense for the first two months of my websites life.

    I've so far made 0.02p

    as I get 0.01p CPM

What could I do to increase that number? Or will the CPM stay the same.

It just seems pointless if i'm going to always be on that cpm, this site is never going to get very very high daily traffic.

Is it even worth me having the advert on my page, id probably be better off replacing the skyscraper advert I have down the side of my page with affiliate adverts instead.

    Advice please :D

if there's no traffic, there is no point putting anything ad or aff related. Who's gonna click them? Concentrate on two things that have mentioned to death - quality content and traffic.

THEN you focus on ad placements

what is your site? It could be how you have you ads placed, try different things, placement, colours, blending
I had the same problem, I use CPC though and I made my first $0.46 yesterday

I totally agree, keep working on bringing traffic to your site and making it better, and the money will come.

Try using Ad Agents with Popups. Probably will suit your niche. ;)

Try some other PPC and compare the result, choose the best from them

Yes, but not just traffic from everywhere. Search engine traffic is the best source since they are the ones who are searching, social traffic most likely don't click ads though...

My rule of thumb is that if I can't find any placements that result in at least enough revenue to pay the monthly hosting bill, it's not worth placing ads on.
