Is it worth competing against sponsored listings?

    Hi guys

    Does anyone find it worth competing against sponsored listings for a keyword. The thing is I'm building links for my niche so that I can be on the top 10.

    If you do any search for a keyword u usually see top 3 or 4 sponsored listings on the top of the organic listings.

    So I just want to know, do think it's worth it?:confused:

    There will always be serps under paid listings. And there will almost always be paid ads on or around serps. SO unless you don't want to compete for ANYTHING, you haven't really got a choice.

    Thanks for reply, I was finding out for one of my clients. They want to compete in the uk but the sponsored listings is putting them off. :(

    I also think it's still worth it. I just need to convince him :)

    I think sponsored listings are getting clicked times less than organic listings

    You don't have to fear from them buddy . Most of the organic traffic read descriptions before entering any site and that is were you can beat sponsor adds by editing quality content and keywords .

    it is worth it and this is the reason why there are advertisers in the sponsored listing.
