My site doesnt sell anything so its probly not the best idea for me. I do have £50 voucher though so may use this just for some traffic to help me get going.
Mr bloggy If you site doesn't sell anything, that not because of Adwords, that's because of your website. But of course, first you need well targeted and optimized campaign to say that your site doesn't sell anything. It might be, because of untargeted visitors
Ok so its basicly not worth it for me. However I do have this £50 voucher sitting around in email box. I may as well use it, right?
You are talking about arbitrage, so in order for that to work you would need to be making much, much more per click on your website's ads than what you will pay per click on your adwords ads Keep in mind that it might take as may as 100 visitors comming from your adords ad before 1 of them clicks on your website's ads What kind of ad links do you have on your site, how much are you making per click There could be other ways to monotize, does your blog target a specific niche that would enable you to promote a physical or digital product?
definitely worth buying adwords... you must spend lots of money on adwords.. you are missing something if you do not spend enough.
sem-consultant I don't want to make Google rich(actually, it's already rich) I want to use it, to help ME become rich
it is only worth it if you have a very niched site and something to sell. Otherwise, your budget prevents you from living the dream.
If you create a Blog using Blogger.com or something else popular you do not need adwords. Your Blog will be indexed in Google search granted you have alot of keywords in your post.
Cool. I have signed up to adwords anyway. Thought I may as well get some free traffic. Also i have been asked to help out my mates new forum. www.one4um.com, hes just started it.
sometimes i think its like roulette: You can LOSE (pay them money on adwords)....or WIN (get money thru AdSense)..but at the end the winner is always Google
