Honestly, it doesn't look like it would be worth much. There isn't really anything to it.

Are you interested in giving it away or selling it for a low amount? I'm looking for forums and websites to take over and build up.

You can create a deals/promotional coupon website and can sell affiliate products.

For it to be worth something it needs to be making money, I would suggest getting some advertising on it and try to build up your visitor count and then maybe it can be worth something.

It wouldn't really be worth that much, but with 1000 UVs per month there is certainly some potential if you did more advertising. Personally, I think you went about setting up the forum the wrong way, and personally I would have started off with about a maximum of 10 sections to post in. This way, your forum looks like there are more posts, and it is more attractive for newcomers to post in.

The value of a site can be calculated by multiplying its monthly revenue by 8 (or more). So, how much revenue does the site generate?

    My first impressions:
    • great url
    • competitive niche
    • kind of confusing - you expect a site like eBay, Craigslist or similar, then run into a forum. I think the forum might make people click off of it
    • obviously $1 a month isn't cutting it - if you haven't already, look into some of the inexpensive advertising options in DP's services section
Just my 2 cents. Don't give up yet - could be turned around with patience and the right marketing

Everyone that starts an online business makes mistakes - the key is to correct them as quickly as possible, and learn on the fly. The internet evolves very quickly, so unfortunately you have to do the same or you will not succeed.

i have just started with a website, best4boys.com using adds and amazon to build up a site, having loads of trouble making links and adds due to the name. it used to be a gay dating site and it was banned from google - great news,. hopefully things will look up soon, so for you guys who make a dollar a month - well done. every penny counts
