Is it website or web site?

    Hi, my spell checker is going crazy.. it thinks website should be writen as web site....

    which is correct?

    I write it as website.. And Firefox isn't saying it's wrong, so I guess it is website and NOT web site.

    I've used Babylon to define website and web site:
    website: Internet site, particular area located on the Internet.
    web site: home page on the Internet, HTML document on the Internet.
    and on wikipedia "A website (alternatively, Web site or web site)"
    so either website and web site are right :)
