Is it really useful to block the low value adsense ads? What are your experiences?

did block some of them: my competitors, mfa's, ringtones, etc etc.

the only purpose was to take care of my visitors, don't want them seeing those adds...

In most cases,if you block them you'll get lower paying ads..

For me blocking MFA brings down click through down by about 50% and revenue comes down by about 35-40% so I have not blocked anything now.

    Thanks for your valuable infos.

Yes, I just wanted to share those infos to you all. I realized from my adsense report that the low paying ads have better CTR. So google´s algorithm definitely delivers better ads to our sites.

    Hi Indya,

I finally found the report from you in my 'junk mail' folder.
I have carefully read the whole report.

It is not something for me and I do feel that your sales page
    is misleading somewhat.

Please kindly refund to my papal account as your risk free promise.
If I have to wait for 30 days, I will.

    Thank you,

    Comfy

I think the only time blocking ads is beneficially when you want to block out your competitors from appearing.

I did some experimenting with this by blocking some ads, and the results were not good. My CTR dropped significantly, and I was also receiving less per click.
