There is not a fixed time and period for Google PR update.

True that generally google updates PageRank FOUR times in a year.

 

Ok thanks to all for responses. But Google has updated PR only once in this year i.e. in April and now I am waiting for next PR.

 

Google updates for PR 24x7 but probably 4 times it opens the result of updates of PR.In this year I was seen 2 times updates by Google for PR.

Still you people worried about PR. I never consider them even though i have PR of 3, 5 ranks in my websites. IMO concentrate on your site traffic and give a better content for your users

 

As per the info i have google did PR update on these dates... 29 june'10 & 14 September '10. As i have found changes in my client sites on these dates and also it was confirmed on the dates mentioned that there has been a PR update.

 

I think every site doesn't have same PR Update date as you have said you got PR in the month of June and September but I noticed that in April only.

 

you are right to certain extent... as every site requires regular work i.e. it requires its backlinks to be generated on regular basis... as i and my team have been working on our sites on daily basis may be thats the reason we got a PR update for our sites.

Here is the conflict with the post that i got updates twice.Is your web site is different then others sites monishka?

 

Google update PageRank everyday but you can't see it. They basically update PR at 4 parts of the year. Its mostly like cron jobs.

They do FULL PR updates twice an year. And BTW, there will be a PR update this month.

 

Now Google Update happens every day, but back to 2002-2003 it was updated just 4-5 times a year

Toolbar PR was updated half a year ago.

 

I think Google is updating PR every month but for major update I think its 4 times per year but Google might have change it now considering that the major update for last time doesnt happen

 

wasn't google caffeine supposed to change this and make the page rankings more frequent. I honestly don't think it is just 4 times per year any more. Once per day I would say.
