Muhammad's first wife - Khadija, died a few years before he fled to Medina. Later, he was encouraged to take another wife. At the age of 49 he was betrothed to Aisha, age six in 624 A.D. Aisha was his closest friend's, Abu Bakr's, daughter. Abu Bakr was Muhammad’s daily companion and one of his first believers and successor of Muhammad. We can rightfully imagine 6 year old Aisha picking up her toys and moving to Muhammad's house, where he demurely waited until she was nine to have sexual intercourse with her.

In the first year of Muhammad's residence at Yathrib (now Medina) the "Prophet" who never prophesized, celebrated his marriage to Ayisha. Ayisha was then only a young girl (jariyah) of 9-years old per Al-Bukhari, Abu Dawud and Tabari Aisha was 9 when they Muhammad sexually consummated his marriage with her. Muhammad 52.
Aisha herself testified to these facts:

“The messenger of God betrothed me when I was six years old and then married me when I was nine years old.”

Humm the silence ... I don't get it ... the latest and greatest prophet

was

1. a pedophile and could not control his sex drive
2. a war monger
3. stole his teachings from other sources,
distorted these teachings and claimed them as his own coming from God.
4. advocated death for disagreeing with his teachings.

etc etc and yet he is supposed to be the latest and greatest prophet ?

Can somebody please show me why he's the latest and greatest for
over 1 billion people ?

Usually they say that he didn't consummate the marriage until she was 9, as if that's any better. Seems like some Muslims in their hear to hearts would feel that this is wrong. He also had 14 wives when the Quran says you can only have 4, go figure he had a hard time following his own rules.

 

I'm still trying to see why he was called a prophet ?

Since GOD Almighty enabled females in Aisha's age to get pregnant, as it happened even in our world today with the 9-year old Thai girl giving birth, then why can't her age be the minimum age for marriage, especially during the Biblical and Islamic days where people used to die between the ages of 40s and 50s due to diseases and malnutrition?


Why did Shamoun fail to give a single reference, beside that ridiculous message board's post, from a Hadith of Prophet Muhammad that Aisha did indeed get "thighed"? And why is Shamoun not rejecting his Bible for containing far worse points (virgin girls as young as 3 were raped and little boys were killed by Moses and his men) than the one he raised against Islam, which is doubtful to begin with?

Yes they can, especially when they are forced to follow and are not allowed to question the Quran or Muhammad. He wasn't even a prophet. In order to be a prophet, you have to prophesize.

 

Why would Allah choose as a messenger someone who

1. commited murder and advocated the murder of those that disagreed
2. stole from other sources to package his "divine" book
3. could not follow his own rules

Is this the latest and greatest person that Allah could find to speak for him ?

About the above accusation related to Prophet mohammad and Aisha marriage.

The source of the above information can only be the Hadiths books which are nothing but lies attributed to prophet Muhammad. It has no support in Quran. It does not make practical sense.

Any person at the age of six is still a child who is incapable of taking crucial decisions which are essential for marriage under Quranic guidance, like taking solemn pledge, ascertaining mutual attraction, agreeing to the dowry (including adjustment thereto), ascertaining whether the opposite person is an idol worshipper or not and many other issues. Further, marriage involves taking serious responsibilities on the part of both the spouses concerning the upbringing of the family, which a child of the age of 6 or 8 or whatever is incapable of taking.


God commanded us in the Quran not to accept any Hadith but the Quran. The prophet Muhammad himself ordered his followers not to write any Hadiths and to write only the Quran. You will find a rich source of information regarding the corruption of Hadith books and how they insult the prophet Muhammad, insult God Almighty and insult this great religion on our web site at;

 

I was going to point out, that is was different then, because it's slighly true, however what is also is true is that the age of consent is still roughly the same as in was in Muhammad's time, some still do have very low ages for marriage & naturally sex, for example Iran age 13 that would make those people who do consummate the marraige a pedophile in western eyes. You can then switch the argument from it's different times to it's a different belief system etc but in western eyes they will always be thought of in the way we use the word pedophile.

And it does lead to the question why can't Muslims update their religion to modern standards like the bible, at this rate there will be Muslims living like cavemen in the year 4000.

 

Great you can find nothing original in the Koran that did not come from sources hundreds and even thousands for years old.
