is it true that google had changed thier algo and that backlinks aren't imposrtant?

backlinks are no longer important... little dwarfs work in google and they manually make the search engine result page whenever you make a search!

so far i use baclink for off page seo, its still work on google search then my site will up to the ranking

i thinks 'its just rumous only

 

Backlink is more important now, moreover backlink is not just backlinks, but backlinks from related contents.

 

Why do people ask these sort of questions without any backup of the original source?
