    Yeap. Thats true mate.

    Once i deposited US $ cheque in my ICICI bank account and got cleared in 22 days :( after huge deduction :eek:

    I also got my adsense cheque (in dolllars) cleared after 28 days once.. Actually it depend on banks..some clear it in 7 days while some take more than 21 days

    Well it takes some times before clearings. It depends on your Bank and barch area. I had a check from Google Adsense which cleared in 8 days in my HDFC account while ICICI took 18 days for second time.

    No one can be sure about the clearance of the foreign checks in India. It may take from a week to a month for the check to get cleared. And most importantly, it's the bank on which it depends.

    I received cheque from paypal but i think they collaborated with citi bank that why it was cleared in three days only .
