That some people just make something really small like on weight lifting or dieting and do lots of little ones and like connect them all together and market them all then apparantly they make people thousands of dollars automatically every month?? Who does this? If so then what is the best niche?? Which one does the best with adsense or what way is the best way to use adsense? Hope it isn't too much of a newbie question is a very genuine reason as I have a couple domains I was thinking of just parking and using adsense on.
entertainment seems biggest , but its small in adsense.. Health seems smalll,, but its not that small....
I have a niche research and content generation membership where I pick the niches, keywords and write the articles. I don't think that is what you are asking, though... You should elaborate. Are you asking if people create a network of related sites for link building and seo purposes? If that's the question, the answer is yes, it is done all the time. Does adsense make people thousands of dollars a month? Sure it can, but most people only make a few cents/month because they don't know what they are doing. I had a hobby site that was earning about $1-2 per month for years. I had no idea how adsense worked, I just put the code there. I completely forgot about the site for about 4 years and suddenly it was making $40+ per month consistently. I could not believe it. Then I saw that the site was on the first page in the top 3 spots in all the search engines. I could not understand it, what was going on? It was then I saw that people from .edu servers and high pr blogs had linked to my tutorials and ZOOM, number 1 spot. BTW, site was last updated in 2003. Still on page 1. Why am I telling you this? Here's why: choose a small niche that pays decent $$/click and get some good backlinks to get to page 1 of the serps. Rinse and repeat. Your question has been answered. TomG. Do you mean google allows you to build dozens of related niche websites and link them together to build PR ? Doesn't google penalize people's page ranking for doing so?
Adsense is all about good content and TARGETED traffic so that you stand with better chance to get good CTR. This multiple sites technique is being vastly used these days but its main purpose is to bring the main site in top results, resulting in rush of traffic and more chances of getting good CPC. As rightly mentioned by tomG, your content should be a 'link bait' so that people put a link to your page with their own consent rather than you buy links or request for the same.
Tyrowen, There is nothing wrong with you having several blogs is there? No, there isn't. If your blogs are all on the same topic, is there anything wrong with linking to an interesting article on another of those blogs? Nope, didn't think so. It just so happens that the most interesting articles are on the one site that has adsense on it. TomG.
Do they create multiple blogs with blogger on the same account or does every blog need to be created on a different account to make sure google doesn't penalize you? And from what I understand, they create dozens of blogs related to the main website, build PR with each one then link to the main website?
NO. Create several accounts, one at blogger, one at wp, one at squidoo, etc. Then create ONLY ONE blog per account per niche. Then link all those free blogs to your money site with the appropriate link text. That's how it is done. No adsense on the link juice building sites, but affiliate ads are allowed. TomG.
Oh and an other question, do you link those link juice blogs together, or is it better to build PR with them with directory submission and other methods only? I'm pretty sure google would find there is something fishy by doing so, am I right?
Hey man thank for the helpful tips and the rest of what you said was a good insite to just looking at things quite plainly. At the first guys fair point. I didn't mean small niches I meant small websites literally about 4 or 5 pages. Probably the type that Tom was talking about his site that he forgot about. It's literally that is what people do create a whole bunch of sites like that or work on another after another in your own time. some people do it as a hobby that's kind of how I see with my sites/blogs. I've got a squidoo, wp, blogger, other social networking and bookmarking sites as well. Thanks for the insight and help
You can link them together, but don't link every blog to every other blog. Link blog1 to blog2 and blog3 to blog4 and blog2 to blog4, not blog1234 to 1234, etc. TomG.
