    Alexa rank for my webmaster forum www.decentdiscussions.com was

    158,993 on 30 Oct, 2008

    and

    125,742 on 30 Nov, 2008

    Is my alexa rank is improving too slow or too fast?

    I didn't do anything special. Just using link to my forum on other forums where I participate.

    Alexa rank is not important. It's totally irelevant, imo. And the bouncing of those numbers too.

    The ranking is not that important unless you are selling advs which have some requirements for Alexa ranking.

    I think Alexa is not that accurate don't rely on it some SEO beginners use Alexa to check there competitor traffic..

    Why you worry to much on Alexa RanK?

    In my own point of view, just like the PR, alexa rank is just a figure.

    Though it seems improving but I don't think it's going to help you, better try out for organic search listing that will help you in long term.

    Rank means nothing. Sales from/on your website means everthing. No website traffic/visitors NO SALES.
    There are websites out there who have less that 10 backlinks and ranked number one. They drill down there keywords and get SALES.
    SELL, SELL, SELL, = SALES.
