    Part of pagerank is how long the link has been there also.

    Never worry about the current page rank update, it doesn't really effect your positions in the SERPS anyhow. Just build links at a steady rate and you'll be fine.

    I did not think about this before. Nice tip but imo although age of link should be important, he may get some important value by just getting a link now.
